Terms of Service

By booking a pickup or subscribing with Launchpad Laundry, a sole proprietorship based in Chico, CA, you agree to the following terms.

The service

We provide laundry pickup, wash-and-fold, and delivery within our current service area. We target a 48-hour turnaround from pickup to delivery; this is a service goal, not a guaranteed delivery time, and may vary around holidays or severe weather.

Subscriptions & billing

  • Solo Rocket and Family Launch are monthly subscriptions billed automatically through Stripe until you cancel.
  • There are no long-term contracts — you can pause or cancel anytime before your next billing date.
  • Bag allowances (2 or 4 bags/month depending on plan) don't roll over month to month.
  • One-off pay-per-pound orders are billed after your items are weighed, at the rate shown at booking.

Your items

  • Please empty pockets and remove non-launderable items before pickup. We're not responsible for items left in pockets.
  • Every bag is tagged to keep your order separate from other customers' laundry.
  • If an item is lost or damaged while in our care, contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can look into it. Our liability is limited to the fair replacement value of the specific item(s) affected.
  • Let us know about any special care instructions in the pickup notes — we'll do our best to follow them, but delicate or high-value items are washed at your discretion.

Cancellations & missed pickups

If you need to skip a pickup, let us know before your scheduled window. If a bag isn't out during the confirmed window, we may need to reschedule to the next available slot.

Changes

We may update these terms as the business grows; the current version always lives at this page.
